Please note that these rules apply everywhere on this Forum. For more information on specific rules for each
section, please check out the posting guidelines for each individual section or the general description which is written out in the Board Index.

Similar to the chat, "but I didn't know!" is not an acceptable excuse on this forum. As soon as you have registered, you have agreed to be subject to these rules. Before you participate in this site, you must read them all the way through. Also bear in mind that you are responsible for whatever happens on your account so keep your password a secret. If someone uses your account and gets banned, this ban will count towards you in the future - no exceptions. Bans can be as short as 12 hours or as long as forever depending on your behavior and counting strikes. We typically go by the 3-strikes rule, but some special people manage to earn permanent bans on their first or second try.

General:

-The chat and the forum are both PG-13; this means that...

Any content that is deemed over PG-13 will be removed.
You must also be over 13 years old to sign up/log in to the chat or the forum.

-Causing any disruptions is not tolerated here; if you are caught doing so, it will result in a disciplinary action on your account. If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say it at all. This includes but is not limited to...

Flaming, Starting rumors, Creating drama, False advertising or Harassment of any kind.
Inappropriate and hurtful slang (such as terms against homosexuality, racial groups, political affiliations...etc).
Talk of illegal drugs or substances.
Subjects, images or content that can trigger other members of this community (such as rape, self harm, talk of suicide... etc).
Negative criticism against your fellow community members.
Prejudice against religious or spiritual beliefs and extremist points of view. Please keep them to yourself and do not force them upon others.
Threats of any sort (hacking, sending viruses, death threats...etc). This does includes threats made "jokingly". We take all threats very seriously.

Explicit Links of any sort.
Talking or discussing your ban or someone else's ban publicly. If you wish to dispute or discuss a ban, please send in a Problem Ticket instead.
Trolling of any kind. We ask that you respect our rules and respect other Chatlands sites while you are on this Forum.
The promotion of illegal activities is prohibited on our forums.

-Spam is not welcome and is fronwed upon on the forum. Any spam you post will be removed and disciplinary actions will be taken. This includes but is not limited to...

Posting multiple topics containing similar or the exact same content.
Creating a new topic for something that has already been posted
Polls that have no relevance.
Creating threads that are in indecipherable or unneeded.
Posting indecipherable or unneeded messages on another user's topic

-Please be kind and courteous to other users. Follow the golden rule: Treat others how you want to be treated!

-We ask that you do not harrass any users. This includes but is not limited to...

Irritating, annoying or tormenting members of the community persistently.
Unneccessary for and inappropriate name calling.
Sexual harrassment is taken seriously and is not tolerated anywhere in Buried.
Stalking any member/administrator of the community.
Harassing administrators and/or posting about: bans, warnings given, pending or already processed poses, asking to become an admin...etc.

-Propositioning minors is something we will in no way tolerate. If you are caught in the act, you will receive a straight-forward ban. No excuses, no exceptions.

-Illegal or inappropriate URLs are prohibited on this forum. This includes, but is not limited to...

Shock sites of any sort. _{(Shock sites produce scary/gorey images made to "joke around".)}
Links/images/content showing: excessive gore, sexually explicit content, or any otherwise offensive or inappropriate content.
Links promoting the sale of or promotion of illegal activities.
